Job Description:

Stanbridge University is seeking a dynamic candidate for an Alumni and Student Organization Officer to strengthen and develop services for students and alumni. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is people-oriented, has excellent organizational and communication skills, and gets along well within a team.

Essential Functions:

  • Planning, scheduling, and attending annual, quarterly, and monthly alumni events including networking events, and continuing education workshops.
  • Planning, scheduling, and attending annual, quarterly, and monthly student organization events
  • Coordinating with university and program administration to schedule events and facilities.
  • Assisting with the promotion and execution of events.
  • Developing programs to engage alumni and student and build awareness of alumni services through career development, lifelong learning, wellness, and social events.
  • Developing, planning, and recruiting for new organizations and clubs.
  • Creating new events to expand the Colleges relationship with Alumni including seminar series, networking, and appreciation events.
  • Managing event registrations to adjust logistics or timelines if needed.
  • Managing and communicating with student organizations and alumni with university updates and event information.
  • Assisting in creating surveys and analyzing them to help improve events and services.
  • Documenting event calendars and processes for future use.
  • Managing organizations and committees and maintains key relationships with student and alumni leaders.
  • Maintaining partnerships with campus stakeholders to execute alumni engagement programs.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.
  • Previous experience in event coordination, community service or non-profit organizations, and business administration.

Work Environment:

  • Standard office setting.
