The Vocational Nursing Department at Stanbridge University is seeking a dynamic candidate with excellent interpersonal skills to be the VN Clinical Liaison.
part-time, hourly, non-exempt
- Cultivate relationships with new and existing clinical facilities by performing clinical site visits in a routine manner.
- Create and implement a marketing plan based on an assessment of the Programs current need.
- Participate in marketing education for clinical instructors, ensuring the knowledge of clinical facilities and student needs.
- Initiate Facility Approval process for newly acquired sites.
- Conduct site visits for approved facilities to ensure BVNPT and faculty compliance.
- Evaluate clinical faculty at the clinical site, making site visits in a routine manner.
- Provide written reports after completion of each site visit(s) and acquisition, including weekly meetings with VN Administration.
- Communicate clinical activities and concerns to VN Administration.
- Ensure clinical documents are completed and submitted to VN Administration.
- Maintain clinical site data and requirements.
- The Clinical Liaison will report directly to the Program Director and Assistant Program Director and will be given clinical related projects and assignments as needed.
- BSN with 5 years of experience in nursing or ADN with 8 years of experience in nursing.
- Previous experience as a facility or clinical liaison is preferred.
- Previous experience as a clinical instructor for an LVN program is preferred.
- Embody and maintain professionalism at all times in demeanor, appearance and conduct to represent Stanbridge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple task-oriented projects in a timely manner.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Comfortable utilizing technology, with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
