Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Admissions Representative is responsible for identifying qualified applicants for admission to the University. The Admissions Representative also provides applicants with information about our school and degree programs, guides potential students through the application process, all while operating in compliance with state and federal accreditation and institutional policies and within the parameters of ethical codes of conduct.

Essential Functions:

  • Analyze the applications of prospective students based on standard admission policies.
  • Accurately and completely explain educational programs, expected outcomes, student services, and financial considerations to prospective students, parents, and other internal and external clients. Advise students about the programs offered, admission procedure, eligibility and costs involved.
  • Follow-up with prospective students through direct meetings, live chat, phone calls and emails to ensure all obstacles have been addressed, the prospect attends orientation prior to the start date and the prospective student has a positive experience.
  • Submit required reports and projects in a timely manner. Maintains and organizes inquires and enrollment paperwork.
  • Arrange orientation programs, educational workshops and graduation programs for students.
  • Participate in all recruitment events, open houses, school fairs, information sessions, exhibitions, school visits and off-campus events.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Two or more years of experience in admissions in higher education or customer relations in business.
  • Knowledge of institutional, accrediting, state, and federal standards, laws, and/or regulations for higher education.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer service.
  • Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines.
