Job Description:

Stanbridge University is looking for a passionate and creative web developer who will be an indispensable member of our Web Technology department. You will be part of a highly collaborative team of developers in a fast-paced and proactive environment. Your knowledge of the latest techniques and frameworks used to create fast, efficient, dynamic, scalable web-apps will help us change modern education.

Essential Functions:

  • Experience with JavaScript, preferably Vue.js
  • Laravel experience
  • Knowledge of semantic and accessible HTML
  • Ability to write and maintain extensive custom CSS
  • CSS Preprocessor knowledge, preferably Sass (Scss)
  • Experience with build tools and configuration, preferably Webpack
  • Familiarity with Node.js
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git / GitHub
  • Ability to write tidy, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Extreme attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • A friendly and approachable attitude

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming
  • Experience with MVC or similar patterns or frameworks
  • AdonisJs experience
  • Familiarity with relational databases
  • Experience with MySQL / MariaDB syntax
